Best Actress Nominee in 48 Hour Film Challenge

Two weeks ago, I participated in the 48 Hour Film Challenge here in Toronto and we came away with a great film, a lot of friends and a lot of fun.

Our film “Giving Joey the Finger” is about a charitable woman who will stop at nothing to deliver an autographed foam finger to a boy dying of various types of cancer, but didn’t expect to be up against a man who plans to use the finger to propose to his frustrated girlfriend.

The film was nominated for best editing, best cinematography, best film, and best actress.  We didn’t come away with any awards, but considering this was our first year, I think we did pretty darned good!
