Whitby Chamber of Commerce – Marketing Rebrand
In just nine months, I spearheaded a complete rebrand of the Whitby Chamber of Commerce’s marketing materials. The project included developing a fresh communications strategy with multi-platform reach: a radio campaign that I adapted into animated YouTube content and stills for Instagram, a new business magazine (Accenture) to spotlight Chamber businesses in the local community — which I wrote, creatively designed, and prepared for print — and a redesigned suite of event marketing materials for flagship programs like the Connect Women’s event and the prestigious Peter Perry Awards.
This work was recognized with the Durham Art of Transition Award for Media Arts by the Durham Region, underscoring the impact of creative storytelling in strengthening community and brand identity.
Accenture Magazine
From concept and writing to design, I created and launched a Chamber magazine within 8 months, highlighting the local business community and active members.
Bill & Charles
Bill & Charles is a whimsical, light-hearted radio series I wrote and voiced at the local station, later adapting it into animated videos for YouTube and still images for Instagram. Designed to draw in new members, the series highlighted Chamber membership benefits in a fun and memorable way throughout the year.
Written, animated, edited by Yolanda Beasley
A series of still images accompanied the videos to extend the message to Instagram.
Events & Branding
I redesigned the marketing materials and branding for Peter Perry, the Business Summit, the Chamber Membership Package including the Annual Directory as well as other major events.
